Junk Removal in Chamblee, GA
Show us the worn-out couch, the busted patio set, the stacked boxes and the yard debris, and our crew carries every piece to the truck. Pricing depends on volume and weight, and you hear the number before a single item gets loaded.

What junk removal covers and when it makes sense
Junk removal is the general service: a crew comes to your home, picks up whatever you have pointed out, and takes it away for disposal, recycling or donation. It fits the mixed pile, like a dresser, three bags of clothes, a cracked kiddie pool and a box spring, where no single item justifies its own trip.
It is the right call when the load is too bulky for your car, too heavy for curbside pickup, or simply more than you want to lift. If the job is one big category, such as a full garage or a remodel's worth of drywall, our pages on garage cleanouts and construction debris go into those specifics.
Our answers stay short and direct. You will know what drives the price, what we can and cannot take, and what happens to your things after they leave.
What the crew handles
- All the carrying, done by us
- Our crew picks items up wherever they are: any room, the attic, the backyard or the curb. Staircases and narrow halls come with the job, so you never have to haul anything yourself.
- Taking big pieces apart
- A sectional, a bed frame or a backyard swing set rarely clears a doorway whole. We show up with hand tools and break them down right there.
- Donation and recycling first
- Furniture and housewares that are clean and still usable go aside for a charity that wants them. Cardboard, scrap metal and some electronics head to recyclers rather than the landfill.
- A clean spot left behind
- After the final piece is loaded, we sweep the garage floor or rake the yard where the pile stood. Packing peanuts, leaves and bits of particleboard go on the truck too.
- One heavy item is a job too
- We'll take a lone piano, hot tub cover or solid-wood armoire. Washers and refrigerators follow their own handling rules, which our appliance removal page explains.
Signs it is time to call for a pickup
The curb pile keeps getting skipped
Regular trash service usually leaves mattresses, furniture and loose debris behind. If something has sat at the curb for two collection days, it needs a different route out.
A room has turned into storage
When a spare bedroom or the dining room holds boxes instead of people, the clutter is costing you square footage you already pay for.
Items are breaking down where they sit
Upholstery and cardboard soak up moisture in a humid Georgia summer and start to smell or grow mildew. Particleboard swells and crumbles once it gets wet. Waiting only makes them harder to move.
You are moving, selling or settling an estate
A listing photo or a closing date sets a hard deadline. Clearing out what will not make the move is faster when someone else does the carrying.
It is too heavy to lift safely
Sleeper sofas, treadmills and old entertainment centers can weigh well over what one or two people should carry down stairs. That is when back injuries happen.
What sets the price
We price by how much truck space your items fill, adjusted for weight and handling. Pricing is upfront with no hidden fees: once you agree to a figure before loading, that figure is the bill. These are the factors that move it.
Volume
The main driver is how much of the truck the load takes up. A single recliner and a full truckload are priced very differently.
Weight
Dense material such as concrete, tile, dirt or roofing shingles fills a truck's weight limit long before it fills the space, so it is priced with that in mind.
Access and carry distance
Items on a second floor, in a crawl space or at the back of a sloped yard take more time and crew than things already sitting in the driveway.
Disposal fees for specific items
Mattresses, tires and some electronics carry their own disposal or recycling charges at the facilities that accept them. We tell you about these when we quote.
How a pickup works
- 1
Phone call and quote
Tell us what you have and where it is in or around your home. For a clear pile we can usually give you a price over the phone. For larger or mixed jobs, we offer free, no-obligation on-site estimates.
- 2
Price confirmed on arrival
The crew looks at the actual load and confirms the price before lifting anything. If the pile is smaller than described, the price goes down. If it is larger, you decide whether to add it.
- 3
Loading and cleanup
We carry everything out, take apart what will not fit, and sweep up behind ourselves. Most single-truck jobs take well under two hours.
- 4
Sorting and disposal
Donations, recyclables and landfill waste are separated back at the truck. You do not have to sort anything before we arrive.

Junk removal questions
Is there anything you won't haul?
Hazardous materials stay off our truck: oil-based paint, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals and propane tanks, since regular disposal sites turn them away. Fully dried latex paint is usually OK. Not sure about something? Describe it on the call and we'll give you a plain yes or no before booking a crew.
Does someone have to be there when you pick up?
It depends. Once you've agreed to the price by phone, we can load items from the porch, an open garage or the yard while you're out. If the items are inside your home, someone has to open the door for the crew.
How fast can a crew get to me?
When the crew schedule has room, we offer same-day and next-day appointments. While you're on the phone we look at what's open and lock in a time with you.
Will you come inside, or do things need to be at the curb?
We pick up from anywhere on your property: upstairs, basements, attics, sheds or along the back fence. There's no need to move anything to the driveway ahead of time.
Where do my things end up?
If a local charity will accept usable furniture and household goods, that's where they go. Recyclers take metal, cardboard and electronics that can be recycled. The landfill gets only what can't be reused or recycled.
